Coyotes rivals are the stars kings and sharks. the kings one is bitter as fuck so i don’t understand why it wasn’t listed especially after the train wreck that was the western conference finals.
Go fix it! That’s the awesome thing about Wikipedia—if you feel that important information has been omitted, you can do something about it. :)
I’m not going to change the graphic now, because holy cats did it take a long time to get all those angles right and I would have to redo all of them if I added a logo to the circle. But I’m told that in addition to the ones mentioned here, there are rivalries between the Sharks and the Stars, the Bruins and the Flyers, and the Blue Jackets and the Red Wings. (I’m dubious about that last one—I’m guessing it’s kind of like in Mighty Ducks when the adorable yet incompetent little bb Ducks are all YEEEAAAAHHHH WE’RE GONNA CREAM THOSE HAWKS BASTIDS except without the actual subsequent creaming.)
A graphic representing every rivalry listed on Wikipedia’s “NHL rivalries” page. Defunct teams’ logos are grayed out. (The Kings logo is black and white already, but hopefully you all know that they’re not defunct.) The Stars, Jets, Coyotes, Predators, Wild, and Blue Jackets are excluded because no rivalries involving them are listed. Click through for a larger version.
